Memberships & Associations
The Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization first formed in the late 1960's to bring together people with an interest in clean air and the mechanics of air pollution. Its focus is now expanded to encompass broader environmental management affairs, but with particular reference to air quality and related issues. Dr Heike-Neumeister-Kemp used to be the Chair of the Indoor Air & Environmental Special Interest Group (IA&E). The IA&E of the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand is interested to promote discussion and debate on the state of knowledge and the quality of indoor air, and on related environmental health concerns. This group is working towards the establishment of an appropriate national body for better understanding and management of indoor air quality.
